Our know-how in the machine production of bobbin lace is unique in Europe and probably in the world. We have been producing bobbin lace continuously since 1908.
We have an archive of many thousands of bobbin lace patterns available to our customers, in all possible designs, materials, widths, colors, combinations. We draw on the enormous wealth that generations of the best designers and lacemakers in Europe have created for more than 110 years. You will only find such a number of patterns, and therefore the best conditions for your selection, with us. We produce and sell lace of the same excellent quality that our customers are used to and in a range that we are gradually adding to and expanding.
1800-1933 Drnovice
The first surviving plans for the construction of factory buildings in Drnovice date from this year. The landowner, Count Albrecht Dubský of Lysice, had the first buildings of the future "Dubský Screw and Nail Factory", one of the first screw factories in Austria-Hungary, built on the site of former wetlands. 1933 Albrecht Dubský ended production.
1832-1945 Letovice
In 1832, the merchant Baum bought the buildings of the former manufactory from Count Kálnoky and began adaptation work there for the installation of bobbinet machines. In 1834, the production of "Tatting" lace on Warp machines was already started in Letovice. 1939: Czechoslovakia is occupied. In the Protectorate of Bohemia and Moravia, lace production in Letovice remains preserved.
1908
This year, the first 50 bobbin machines were put into operation in Letovice. 1925: The number of bobbin machines reached 430. At that time, the production of bobbin lace in Letovice was the largest in Europe. Top Viennese artists designed new patterns for the company M. Faber & Co.
1946-1949
On January 1, 1946, the Tylex, national enterprise, lace and tulle factory Letovice was established by the founding decree. All production of bobbin lace from Letovice and subsequently from the entire republic was transferred to Drnovice. By 1949, the factory was fully operational.

Production curtailment and gradual reduction of plant capacity.
2002
The factory premises in Drnovice are purchased by the TOPAK company and continue the tradition of lace production.
Present
The tradition of bobbin lace production is still maintained in Drnovice, building on the long history of local craftsmanship. Today, production emphasizes quality, smaller series, and connections with modern sales.
